An award-winning print journalist, Tina Depko has covered breaking news in daily and community newsrooms across Canada. She has interviewed everyone from prime ministers to professional athletes, but her favourite articles have been written about everyday people making a difference in their community.
Her writing has appeared in such publications as the Toronto Star, Hamilton Spectator, Regina Leader-Post and the Fredericton Daily Gleaner. In 2011, she was named Reporter of the Year by the Ontario Community Newspapers Association.
Tina transitioned to public relations six years ago. After working as the communications specialist in the top political office in Burlington, she is now the senior writer at the largest faculty at McMaster University.
She’s currently available as a consultant, with expertise in content creation, website redevelopment, media training, and speechwriting.
